“Slavutich” Hotel received first guests in April 1972, the original name of the Hotel was “Rusanovskaya”, because it is situated on the artificial island Rusanovskiy, formed by the Dnepr branch and artificial circular channel.

In August 1972 the Hotel was renamed and got its modern name – “Slavutich”.

The building of the Hotel was built on an individual project in the form of the open book, as if inviting guests.

The name of the Hotel – Slavutich – descends from the Old Slavic name of the river Dnepr.

Through the Hotel’s windows one can see a splendid view of the historical monuments – golden Kyivo-Pecherskaya Lavra and Vudubizkiy monastery, founded in 11 century.

In 1998 Hotel was partially reconstructed, after this guests were offered suits and junior suits.

“Slavutich” is certificated as a three star Hotel.
